Your Role

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer journey while ensuring operational and sales excellence. You will lead a passionate team, uphold the highest standards, and guarantee that every aspect of the store reflects the luxury, sophistication, and prestige that define our brand.

Team: Permanent & Flexi Staff within the store

Key Areas of Impact

Creating an Exceptional Customer Experience

1. Cultivate a service-driven culture, ensuring customers receive a world-class experience
2. Implement action plans based on mystery shopper feedback to continuously elevate service standards
3. Build strong relationships with customers and maintain a loyal client base
4. Provide in-store coaching and continuous training to refine sales and service skills

Inspiring and Leading a High-Performance Team

1. Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-calibre retail team that embodies our brand values
2. Drive performance through structured Individual Performance Agreements (IPAs), one-on-one coaching, and meaningful feedback sessions
3. Recognise and reward excellence while ensuring accountability with clear expectations
4. Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages growth

Driving Sales and Operational Excellence

1. Monitor daily sales performance and ensure every team member contributes to store targets
2. Analyse the income statement and manage expenses to maximise profitability
3. Maintain optimal stock levels in alignment with customer demand and store needs
4. Ensure compliance with in-store controls, visual merchandising standards, and premium store presentation
5. Use key retail disciplines to manage store operations efficiently

Achieving Business Targets

1. Deliver on key metrics, including trading density, basket size, and salary-to-sales ratios
2. Align team performance with brand goals, ensuring a seamless and luxurious shopping experience

What It Takes to Succeed:

Experience that sets you up for success:

1. Minimum of 5 years’ retail experience
2. At least 12 – 18 months of management experience in a retail environment
3. A deep understanding of the retail landscape, including brand positioning and customer engagement

Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:

1. Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
2. Tertiary Retail Qualification (advantageous)

Additional Requirements that will enhance your impact for success:

1. Knowledge of Industrial Relations (IR) laws and ability to initiate enquiries
2. Strong understanding of profit & loss statements and retail financials
3. Experience in merchandising, stock control, and store administration
4. Ability to recruit and build a team that represents a luxury retail brand
