Job description

Our client, a leading organization in the courier and logistics industry, is urgently seeking to appoint a Key Accounts Executive with proven experience managing accounts within the public sector.

Location: Cape Town, Western Cape

Requirements:

  1. Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or related
  2. 3-5 years of experience within the courier/logistics industry
  3. Must have experience in key account management within the public sector
  4. Must have stable and successful track record selling in the courier/logistics industry
  5. Must have a valid driver's license
  6. Must have a proven track record of meeting targets consistently
  7. Must have experience in developing new business
  8. Must have a clear credit and criminal record

Responsibilities:

  1. Focus on growing and developing existing clients as well as generating new business.
  2. Manage multiple key accounts without compromising on the quality of services provided.
  3. Maintaining sales and service levels.
  4. Implementing all sales and marketing strategies.
  5. Meeting clients.
  6. Conducting logistics management software training to new and existing customers when required.
  7. Attending to customers' enquiries and resolving all issues professionally.
  8. Compiling quotations.
  9. Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
  10. Reaching set monthly targets.
