The Key Account Director will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring seamless service delivery and long-term client satisfaction. This role requires a strong personality fit—someone who is commercially astute, relationship-driven, and confident in leading cross-functional teams to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop strategies to expand business within existing accounts and acquire new key clients
  2. Drive revenue growth and profitability across the account portfolio
  3. Prepare and present tailored account development plans and proposals
  4. Build a strong understanding of client businesses to provide effective solutions
  5. Oversee project delivery across departments, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and expectations are met
  6. Manage client budgets and align resources for maximum efficiency
  7. Present strategic recommendations and solutions to senior stakeholders
  8. Act as the key point of contact for escalations and high-level decision-making
  9. Deliver clear and accurate reporting to internal leadership teams

Requirements
  1. Relevant tertiary qualification
  2. 8–10 years’ experience in senior account management or a client relationship role
  3. Proven background in a sales-driven manufacturing environment
  4. Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills
  5. Understanding of operational processes and service delivery within manufacturing

Remuneration
Market-related salary based on experience
