Key Account Manager (Wholesale Industry, ICT Focus)

Key purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in the Wholesale industry, with a specific emphasis on the ICT space, preferably with Telecoms experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts within the Wholesale sector, specifically targeting companies in the ICT field. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in sales, account management, and have significant experience in Wholesale, preferably with prior engagement in Telecoms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve business objectives and revenue growth targets within the Wholesale sector, with a focus on companies operating in the ICT industry, particularly Telecoms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in major Wholesale accounts, including ICT companies, Telecoms service providers, and related entities.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, understanding their business needs, challenges, and growth opportunities within the Wholesale industry, specifically within the ICT space.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment in delivering tailored solutions and exceptional service to key Wholesale accounts in the ICT sector.
  • Leverage Wholesale and Telecoms experience to identify and capitalize on cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the assigned Wholesale accounts.
  • Negotiate and renew contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements with key accounts in the Wholesale industry.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against targets, providing regular reports and analysis to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics within the Wholesale sector, specifically focusing on ICT and Telecoms.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty within the Wholesale industry.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and differentiate our offerings within the Wholesale sector.

Qualifications, experience and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, key account management, or business development within the Wholesale industry, with a specific emphasis on the ICT sector and preference for Telecoms experience.
  • Proven track record of success in managing large accounts and driving revenue growth in the Wholesale sector.
  • Deep understanding of the Wholesale industry, particularly in the ICT field, including knowledge of industry trends, products, services, and key Telecoms players.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with experience in contract negotiation within the Wholesale industry.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to develop account plans and identify growth opportunities in the Wholesale sector.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service within the Wholesale industry.
  • Adaptability, resilience, and ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
