Job description

Key Account Manager

Company: Stellenbosch Exports

Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with clients
  • Coordinate shipments
  • Coordinate supply and demand plan
  • Handle all client queries
  • Coordinate logistics and supply chain solutions with internal teams
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities
  • Identify business opportunities and challenges
  • Monitor and report on key account metrics
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations
  • Manage compliance requirements related to freight and export
  • Arrange daily with shipping lines
  • Handle all bookings with freight forwarders
  • Age and stock analysis

Requirements:

  • 1 – 3 years proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in the logistics and freight sector
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics, shipping, and export processes
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Familiar with market trends and an ability to adapt to changes in the industry
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Master's degree in business, logistics, or a related field
  • Valid driver’s license with own vehicle

Location: Stellenbosch

Salary: R20 000 – R25 000 per month (Experience based)
