Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Web Administrator to maintain and enhance our Magento 2 e-commerce website. This role involves updating product listings, building pages, troubleshooting website issues, and working alongside the Senior Web Administrator and marketing team to ensure a seamless online experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Website Management: Maintain and update the company’s Magento 2 website, ensuring smooth functionality and an optimal user experience.
  2. Product Management: Upload and manage new product listings, update existing product information, and ensure accurate categorization for easy navigation.
  3. Page Building & Design: Create and modify web pages within Magento 2, incorporating basic design elements such as banners and resized images.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Web Administrator, developers, and marketing team to implement website updates and troubleshoot issues.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Conduct routine website checks, identifying and flagging any issues related to speed, navigation, or functionality.
  6. SEO & Optimization (Bonus Skill): Assist in improving website search engine optimization (SEO) by optimizing product descriptions, images, and metadata.

Experience

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. 2-3 years in a similar role managing e-commerce websites, preferably with Magento 2 experience.

Technical Skills

  1. Proficiency in Magento 2 for product and page management.
  2. Basic knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) for simple image edits and banners.
  3. Attention to detail with the ability to identify and troubleshoot website errors.
  4. Understanding of SEO fundamentals and website optimization (preferred but not required).

Soft Skills

  1. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
  2. Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  3. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to improving website functionality.
