Position Summary

Ensure category performance and trade execution is in line with Marketing strategy.

Developing category specific trade plans and implementing channel specific projects.

YOUR ROLE

1. Development of channel specific POS in line with channel strategy.
2. Work closely with sales and merchandising team to optimize visibility of POS in store & improve in-store execution.
3. Develop & execute customer promotional plans.
4. Analyse & review regularly results of campaigns & promotions.
5. Develop channel merchandising strategy, including assortment, planograms, point of sale materials.
6. Support Sales in customer meeting preparations (e.g. ppt, samples).
7. Coordinate, support and execute materials for trade shows.
8. Internal & external master data maintenance & update by collaborating with external suppliers and agencies.
9. Coordination with production plant & third parties (e.g. co-packers).
10. Support & execute customer merchandising plans according to channel merchandising strategy.
11. Develop best in class In-Store Activation strategy along with Brand Managers for new launches.
12. Develop yearly promotional plans on category level but also channel and customer level in line with brand guidelines, Sales feedback as well as shoppers' insights.
13. Develop Shopper led Point of Sale Materials.
14. Maintain strong contacts with our external partners (POS, promotion and advertising agencies) to develop ad hoc material and trade marketing activities.
15. Analyze and evaluate the market data and monitor competition.
16. Lead and support Pre & post promotions evaluation followed by recommendation for improvements.
17. Develop tools delivering trainings for the sales team on product knowledge & shoppers' profiles.
18. Manage Trade Marketing budget & ensure cost policies are applied having in mind optimization between quality & price.
19. Present to top management proposed yearly promotional plans and In-Store Activation Strategies for approval.

YOUR SKILLS

1. Technological / market know-how: Thorough knowledge of customers, products, positioning, market and competitor products with Experienced in Dunnhumby Insights, knowledge of market best practices.
2. Business Acumen: Strong commercial skills & Financial commercial understanding.
3. Personal skills: Multitasking, flexible, customer-oriented and can-do attitude, very strong project management skills also creative skills with interest for latest in-store innovations, Analytical, strategic and logical skills and sense for facts and figures ideally motivation to work in an international environment.
4. Miscellaneous (IT / languages): Above average literacy, numeracy and computer literacy.

Requirements

Years of Experience: 1-3 years

Qualification: Marketing or Business Degree

Assessing market requirements and product range life cycles and repositioning and / or relaunching existing products. Joint planning of product category investments, Evaluation & decision making.
