Job Title: Junior Software Developer

Employment Type: Permanent, On-site

Work Location: Strubensvalley, Roodepoort – Johannesburg

Role Overview

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications. You will collaborate with teams to understand user requirements, develop effective solutions, and ensure that the software meets business needs. Your role will involve problem-solving, writing clean and efficient code, and continuously updating the software based on user feedback and the latest technological advancements.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Writing and debugging code
2. Troubleshooting software issues
3. Working closely with developers to improve product’s functionality
4. Developing innovative solutions
5. Attending developer meetings
6. Participating in code reviews and quality assurance activities
7. Participating in estimation discussions with the product team
8. Continually improving coding skills
