Junior Quantity Estimator / Surveyor

Our Client is a seasoned industry leader, specializing in General Plant Maintenance, Construction, and Engineering. We require the professional skills of a Junior Quantity Estimator / Surveyor to join their team on a temporary basis and situated in Merebank, KZN.

Experience in the following:

1. Prepare and Analyze costing for tenders, negotiating to ensure budgets are not exceeded.
2. Ability to read building plans and drawings.
3. Pricing of all BOQ’s.
4. Compilation and monitoring of project allowances.
5. Measuring on site.
6. Preparation and submission of tender documents and quotes.
7. Attend site meetings and liaising with end users.
8. Planning and organizing.
9. Presenting and communicating information.

Candidate Minimum Requirements and Skills:

1. Grade 12.
2. Proven experience between 3-5 years.
3. Qualification in Quantity Surveying.
4. Computer literate (MS Excel/Word/Outlook/MS Projects).
5. Well-developed English language skills (speak, read and write).
6. Pro-activity.
7. Confidence and decisiveness.
8. Attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Driver’s license.
