Junior Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Scheduling
   1. Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and schedules.
   2. Help define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
   3. Ensure that project milestones are achieved on time.
2. Task Coordination and Delegation
   1. Coordinate tasks and ensure proper resource allocation.
   2. Assist in assigning responsibilities to project team members and subcontractors.
   3. Track the status of tasks and report on progress.
3. Budget and Resource Management
   1. Support the senior project manager in managing project budgets.
   2. Monitor the use of resources, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
   3. Help track expenses and prepare financial reports as needed.
4. Communication and Reporting
   1. Maintain communication with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
   2. Prepare and deliver project updates, status reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
   3. Organize and participate in project meetings and record minutes.
5. Risk Management
   1. Assist in identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
   2. Monitor potential project risks and report any issues to senior management.
6. Documentation and Compliance
   1. Ensure all project documentation is up to date and organized, including contracts, schedules, and reports.
   2. Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and external regulations.
7. Quality Control
   1. Help monitor project deliverables for quality and accuracy.
   2. Ensure that completed projects meet the company’s quality standards and client expectations.
8. Issue Resolution
   1. Assist in addressing and resolving project-related issues and conflicts.
   2. Work closely with team members to keep the project on track and within scope.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From R12500,00 per month

Experience:

1. Construction: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

1. SACPCMP or Candidacy Certificate (Required)

Willingness to travel:

1. 50% (Preferred)
