Junior Laboratory Assistant

An environmental consulting company based in the West Rand has a role that will suit a recent school leaver who is keen to start a career in a science-based position and is interested in environmental issues.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Matric – with mathematics and science.
2. Valid driving licence (ideal, not essential).
3. Good IT skills (Word and Excel) – there will be a test as part of the recruitment process.
4. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

The job requires someone physically fit as the job will involve the moving and installation of technical equipment as well as taking soil and rock samples.

The hours are 8 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday and one Saturday per month.

Starting salary is between R6.5k - R7k pm.
