Junior Industrial Engineer

My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Industrial Engineer to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

They work in the Courier Freight industry and the Junior Industrial Engineer will work closely with senior engineers and managers to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce waste of their organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyzing production processes to identify areas for improvement
• Developing and implementing cost-effective solutions to increase productivity and reduce waste
• Conducting time studies and work measurements to establish standard operating procedures
• Route planning and optimization
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
• Assisting with the design and layout of facilities
• Monitoring and analyzing data to track performance and identify bottlenecks
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to warehouse teams
