Minimum Requirements :

  1. Expert knowledge of the restaurant or organisation’s cuisine
  2. Advanced culinary skills including food preparation, flavour pairings and other cooking best practices
  3. Ability to develop unique recipes
  4. Current knowledge of trends in the restaurant industry
  5. In-depth knowledge of federal, state and local food handling regulations
  6. Comfortable training, directing and supervising kitchen staff
  7. Exceptional leadership skills, including motivation and goal-setting
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Time management and organisation
  10. Verbal Communication and Comprehension – Expert English Standard
  11. Experience: 2+ years in a similar role in high-end dining.
  12. Culinary Skills: Formal training and strong knowledge of various cuisines.
  13. Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop a kitchen team.
  14. Hygiene Certification: Understanding of food safety standards
  15. Financial Skills: Experience with budgeting and supplier management.
  16. Creativity: Ability to develop innovative dishes and menus.
  17. Flexibility: Willingness to work varied hours.
