1. Position: Junior Graphic Designer

• Location: Johannesburg (Hybrid model: both remote and on-site)
• Department: Branding & Design
• Reports To: Lead Designer and Creative Director
• Starting Salary: R11,000/month
• Quarterly Reviews: Possibility of salary increase based on performance
• Work Ethic: High performance demands = bigger growth opportunities

2. What You’ll Be Doing

Design & Brand Development

• Craft visuals for digital and print channels (social media, web, print collateral).
• Maintain brand consistency across all creative outputs, including color palettes and typography (ArponaSans is our jam!).

Collaboration & Communication

• Team up with senior designers, copywriters, and the marketing crew to conceptualise and refine ideas.
• Provide design updates, receive feedback gracefully, and consistently improve your skills.

Multi-Project Contribution

• Expect to tackle a variety of design tasks beyond typical brand work—our projects can change quickly in a small, agile team.
• Be open to upskilling if needed; we’ll help you learn and grow as new needs arise.

Project Execution

• Keep up with task deadlines in our dynamic, high-speed environment.
• Balance multiple projects while ensuring quality in every detail.

Stay Ahead of Trends

• Monitor industry shifts and emerging design styles.
• Pitch new concepts—your fresh perspective matters!

3. What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

• Relevant diploma or degree in graphic design (or in progress).
• Solid understanding of basic design principles (layout, colour theory, typography).
• Familiarity with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Must have your own software and devices to perform design tasks.
