Junior Financial Accountant Fixed Term Contract 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Accountant to supervise the day-to-day transactions encompassing accounts payable, subsistence, petty cash, and other ad-hoc responsibilities. The role includes the management of subordinates within the area of responsibility.

Key Performance Areas (Include but not limited to):

1. Review and posting of transactions, supplier invoices, and subsistence allowances in the finance system.
2. Review and approval of payment reconciliations and posting of payments in the finance system.
3. Petty cash management.
4. Supervision and support of subordinates.

Requirements:

1. B Degree or Diploma in Accounting (NQF 6 / 7).
2. Minimum of five (5) years experience in Financial Management or Accounting specifically in accounts payable.
3. At least three (3) years in a supervisory role managing subordinates.
4. Three-year Diploma in Financial Accounting or equivalent.
5. Unendorsed Code 08 / B Driver’s License.
6. Minimum of 5 years experience.
7. Minimum of 3 years experience in Pastel Evolution System.

Duration of employment: 4 months.
