Junior Estimator

Hire Resolve is seeking a Junior Estimator for a well-established construction company in the built environment. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare accurate cost estimates, assist with tender submissions, and package RFQs (Request of Quotations).
2. Compile comprehensive BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and measure and draw-up BOQs from drawings.
3. Attend site clarification meetings for tenders and provide feedback to Senior Management.
4. Follow up on RFQs sent out to Sub-Contractors, ensuring competitive pricing on each trade for the tender.
5. Build and maintain relationships with various Sub-Contractors and Suppliers to secure the best market pricing.

Requirements:

1. BTech in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar built environment.
3. Proficiency in Candy (CCS – Construction Computer Software) and MS Office.
4. Valid Driver’s License and own transport.
5. Excellent planning, organizing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
7. Ability to prioritize and focus on deliverables.
8. A motivated self-starter with a proactive and solution-driven approach.
9. Proven ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
