Monthly Basic Salary (Market related, Negotiable)

Our client based in Cape Town CBD is seeking a Junior Duty Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations (Front Office as well as F&B), managing guest inquiries and requests, supervising staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of service. The Duty Manager will also be responsible for managing and resolving any issues that may arise during the guest's stay.

Qualifications

  1. Formal qualification in Hospitality advantageous
  2. Experience in the hospitality industry (in both Rooms and F&B) preferably
  3. Working knowledge of Opera & Micros
  4. International experience advantageous

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  2. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
  3. Ability to work well in a team

  1. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  2. Customer service-oriented mindset
  3. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  4. Fast & accurate data entry skills
  5. Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
  6. Driver’s license essential

  1. Highly professional and well groomed
  2. High professional standard of customer service, ascertained through feedback from internal and external customers
  3. Display a 'can-do' attitude when assisting other departments

Standard Hospitality shift (06:00 – 15:00; 14:00 – 23:00)
