The Role:

The Junior Data Analyst will play a key role in unlocking the power of data to drive decision-making and operational efficiency at Rentoza. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to apply their analytical skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will collect, analyse, and visualise data to uncover insights that guide the subscription economy in Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data-driven solutions for business challenges.
2. Collect, clean, and organise large datasets for analysis.
3. Create reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics.
4. Analyse trends and patterns in customer behaviour, subscription performance, and operational data.
5. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data findings.
6. Support the development and optimisation of predictive models and algorithms.
7. Ensure data quality and maintain documentation of data processes.
8. Create data documentation and visualisations for external partners such as investors.
9. Good presentation skills are a must.

Essential Skills:

1. Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar).
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Familiarity with statistical methods and techniques.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information simply.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 1+ years of experience in data analysis or a related role (internship experience considered).
3. Proficiency in SQL and a programming language such as Python or R.
4. Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP is a plus.

Tech Stack:

1. Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar visualization tools
2. SQL, Python, R
3. Google Analytics, Shopify, AWS
