Junior Commercial Attorney - Boutique Law Firm - Cape Town and Johannesburg

Our client isa leading law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to a diverse range of clients. They are currently seeking a talented and motivated Junior Commercial Lawyer to theirteam in Cape Town or Johannesburg. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with prestigious South African, UK, and European clients in a dynamic and flexible working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, assess, and negotiate commercial contracts.
• Provide practical legal advice and solutions in client-facing situations.
• Apply commercial law expertise to assist in various legal matters.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers and clients to address legal issues effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

• LLB, Admitted Attorney
• 1 - 2 years post-qualification experience in commercial law.
• Proven experience in reviewing, assessing, and negotiating contracts.
• Strong client-facing skills and the ability to apply legal knowledge practically.
• A strong academic record is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies:

• Highly motivated with a proactive approach to taking responsibility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a practical understanding of commercial law.
