The Junior Client Analyst role supports the broader Operations team in attaining high levels of client satisfaction by ensuring the build, maintenance and dispatch of databases, reports and online services to Circana Clients. You will partner closely with the CPG Manufacturer & Data Input teams to understand client needs and to continually improve system processes and standards to deliver quality and timely deliverables through strong client management. The work involves impeccable planning, active communication and the execution of all contracted deliverables on time and to the quality standard as defined in the contract.
Operational Excellence
- Build and maintain databases and produce reports to specifications as set out by the CPG team and clients.
- Ensure database accuracy by reviewing data in accordance with set standards and checking procedures.
- Manage database requests from CPG and ensure they are completed to specification and checked prior to implementation.
- Ensure turnaround time for client deliverable (database & reports) is within specified timeframes.
- Understand Data Input requirements for change requests and data query sessions.
Industry & Market Awareness- Actively seek out client product performance in the market to keep relevant.
- Ensure that all client artifacts are kept up to date and in order.
- Full knowledge and understanding of retailer sign-off terms and impact on databases.
Client Centricity- Dispatch databases to the client/CPG team onsite or via FTP by the agreed deadline.
- Contribute to client deliverables by optimizing databases and reports by updating and maintaining client roadmap, ensuring tasks are communicated and planned with CPG teams.
- Understand CPG requirements for allocated clients.
Internal Collaboration- Partner with CPG teams to ensure the delivery of accurate databases within specified deadlines.
- Communicate and partner with CPG/IT/Data Input/SQL Dev to resolve any issues impacting the client deliverables.
- Communicate any data issues and take ownership of problems until resolved.
- Build strong relationships with the users and key contacts within our organization.
Measures of Success- Complete the Operations training program and panel process within the first 4 months of employment if entering at the Junior Client Analyst level.
- Ensure satisfied clients with consistent, high-quality data deliveries & delivery changes on-time, every time.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to build trust and a good working rapport with your fellow team members and other functions/stakeholders.
- Active participant in self-learning and development programs.
- Active participation in team meetings (Daily planning, knowledge shares, initiative sessions).
Qualifications- Tertiary Education preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Data Analysis or Data Management.
- +- 1 year of work experience in data processing, capturing, analysis roles or work within the FMCG industry will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook (Basic to Intermediate).
- A passion for data entry and comfort in routine work processes/data management.
- Interest in analyzing, learning, and understanding the FMCG industry and consumer behavior.
- Exhibit strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Solid time management skills to deal with a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
