Junior Buyer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Buyer to join our team in Cape Town. This is a full-time on-site role where you will be responsible for sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Additionally, you will support budget planning, analyze market trends, and maintain strong supplier relationships. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and possesses excellent negotiation skills to contribute to the efficiency of our procurement operations.

Skills:

1. Strong negotiation and communication skills
2. Ability to analyze market trends and data effectively
3. Experience in inventory management and procurement processes
4. High attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
5. Knowledge of import/export regulations and logistics (advantageous)
6. Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
7. Strong understanding of food and beverage products

Qualifications:

1. Relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
2. Previous experience in a buying, procurement, or inventory management role preferred
3. Familiarity with food and beverage industry standards and sourcing best practices
