Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

1. Supporting the Strategy team with identifying and articulating potential growth opportunities for Mukuru
2. Working with the Strategy team to problem-solve in a semi-structured environment where lateral thinking is required
3. Designing and conducting strategic research, including market, customer, and competitor analyses
4. Formulating and presenting evidence-based recommendations to senior decision-makers in order to reach business goals and achieve strategic objectives
5. Working with various departments to design go-to-market strategies for new products and markets
6. Supporting the Head of Product Incubation in developing and launching new products
7. Liaising with and influencing both internal and external stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives
8. Executing chosen initiatives efficiently and effectively, whether it be building and presenting business cases, mapping out process flows, or investigating new partnership opportunities

Key Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree (Bcomm /BBusSci or other commerce degree preferred)
2. Strong investigative primary and secondary research skills, including the ability to synthesise and present key insights
3. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to break down a problem and solve it strategically
4. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present to, as well as influence, both internal and external stakeholders
5. The ability to quickly learn new skills and deepen your knowledge of the fintech industry
