Junior Business Controller

About The Role

Are you a financial professional with a keen eye for detail and strategic insight? Do you aspire to play a pivotal role in steering our organization toward success? We are looking for a Junior Business Controller to strengthen our Finance & Controlling team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the financial planning, control, and reporting of one or more key business units within our organization. Acting as a strategic partner to the management team, you will contribute to the professionalization and optimization of our financial processes.

Your Responsibilities

1. Financial reporting for accounts.
2. Conduct detailed analyses of financial performance and advise on strategic decisions.
3. Monitor budgets, costs, and forecasts to ensure optimal financial management.
4. Develop and optimize KPI reports to support business operations.
5. Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition and cost allocation.
6. Prepare business cases for new initiatives and investments.
7. Collaborate with various departments to identify and manage financial risks.

Who Are We Looking For?

1. At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a similar role.
2. A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, or a related field.
3. Proficiency in SAP and familiarity with other financial systems.
4. Strong analytical skills and experience in handling complex data analysis.
5. Excellent command of Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus.
6. Proficient in English, both spoken and written. Dutch is a plus.
7. A proactive and independent work attitude, with a focus on results and quality.
8. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
