Junior Accountant

Job Description:

Our client is looking for an energetic, self-driven, and detail-oriented individual that exhibits a growth mindset, the ability to communicate and critically solve problems within a fast-paced environment, and has a passion and understanding for the industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial management of the company
2. Month-end close
3. VAT reconciliations
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable
5. Inventory management
6. Support in annual budget preparation
7. Assisting the Financial Manager with Ad Hoc tasks

Qualifications:

1. B.Comm or equivalent financial qualification with a minimum of 4 years of industry experience
2. SAIPA or CIMA articles will be beneficial
3. Experience in preparing management accounts and financial statements
4. Proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel
5. Experience with SAGE Pastel and Microsoft Office Suite
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
7. Strong affinity for detail, accuracy, organisation, and time management
8. Ability to prioritise and deliver high-quality work under pressure
9. Own reliable transport
