Key Responsibilities
  1. Production of underlying portfolio reconciliation between trustee and client records, including corresponding with the trustee and client to resolve differences.
  2. Preparation of management accounts used in the production of accounting statements and reports for the internal TMF audit/financial reporting team.
  3. Roll-forward management accounts and accounting system (IFRS and Irish GAAP).
  4. Ensure the timely completeness and accuracy of accounting records using mandated systems like DAX.
  5. Meet indicated deadlines for each allocated client.
  6. Limited day-to-day contact with clients for sourcing reports.
  7. Accurate booking of all journal entries and accounting documents into the general ledger for allocated clients for complete financial closure (accruals, prepayments, re-evaluations).
  8. Assist in the maintenance of the chart of accounts, sub-ledger accounts, and other accounting application configurations.
  9. Identify out-of-scope services and provide information to the team leader/manager.
  10. Maintain contact with the TMF audit team to assist in resolving client and audit queries.
  11. Keep up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation.
Key Requirements
  1. Degree holder in Accountancy.
  2. 2-4 years of job experience preferred.
  3. Resourceful, independent, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  4. Excellent written and communication skills, with strong planning and organizational abilities.
  5. Analytical mindset with the ability to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
  6. Fluency in English preferred.
  7. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word is essential; experience with local accounting systems is desirable.

  8. Ensure the team’s entities remain fully compliant with accounting and tax legislation.
  9. Support process enhancement and continuous improvements, utilizing systems as required.
  10. Zero customer escalations related to delivery within your span of control.
