Jnr Data Analysis Entry Specialist

Are you a Mathematics guru? Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a junior data analysis role with pure Mathematics in Matric?

Excellent hybrid opportunity for our UK client working from Cape Town.

Advanced Excel is ESSENTIAL (Pivot tables, conditional formatting) for monitoring data from various sources, updating internal systems & verifying information.

Our client requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to data protection standards!

Hybrid working – Hours: Mon – Fri 09:00 to 18:00 – excellent internet connection required

POSITION INFO: REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with managing compliance with data protection legislation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with internal software systems.
• Understanding of data protection legislation and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.

DUTIES

• Accurately capture and input data from various platforms, including emails, verbal communications, and internal databases.
• Monitor and verify the accuracy and completeness of incoming data.
• Update internal databases to reflect changes and maintain data integrity.
• Track key company information such as portfolio size, block movements, gained/lost business, and relevant client data.
• Monitor internal processes and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of associated tasks.
• Manage email and telephone communications to ensure tasks are completed as required.
• Work with Microsoft Excel and internal software systems to manage and process data.
• Highlight areas of concern to senior management promptly.
• Assist in setting up and improving company templates and processes.
• Compliance with observing the highest possible standards in relation to client and customer confidentiality.
• Ensure compliance with data protection legislation.

Salary: R16 – R18k CTC negotiable dependent on experience
