IT Technician

IT Technician is an IT expert who is responsible for installing and maintaining computer systems and networks in order to achieve the highest functionality and optimize the role of technology.

We are looking for a qualified IT Technician to join our ambitious IT dream team.

Our ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge of computer software and hardware and hands-on experience with a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems.

IT Technician Duties and Responsibilities

1. Installation of PC hardware
2. Check and maintain computer hardware such as mouses and keyboards
3. Install, configure and manage software and their functions according to specifications
4. Develop and maintain local networks
5. Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
6. Assist in and plan training, development, and education for new software and hardware
7. Troubleshoot to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
8. Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes
9. Maintain hardware and software inventory
10. Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders when necessary

Minimum Requirements

1. Previous working experience as IT Technician for (x) year(s)
2. Degree in Computer Science, engineering or similar relevant field
3. Problem solver and attention to details
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
6. Hands-on experience with diverse computer systems and networks
7. In-depth knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
8. Certification as IT Technician will be a big plus
