Responsibilities And Duties
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network operating systems; be familiar with all hardware and software.
Provide recommendations about accessing information and support.
Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software, and resources.
Make recommendations about the purchase of technology resources; research current and potential resources and services.
Provide network accounts and passwords as required.
Install hardware and software systems.
Technical experience in installing and configuring camera solutions.
Offer technical support on-site or via phone or email to personnel experiencing problems with hardware/software.
Perform general maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems and peripheral equipment.
Perform general maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, and repair printer systems.
Ensure that all computers are secured effectively by installing and updating antivirus software.
Escalate problems and issues to a higher level of support, including services that exceed response time, repair time, lack of parts, or any other issues.
Qualifications And Skills
Matric / Grade 12
A+ certificate
N+ certificate
2 years’ experience in a similar position
Windows troubleshooting experience
Printer troubleshooting experience
Network installations experience
Desktop/Laptop hardware and software troubleshooting experience
