Job description:
The IT Technician performs all aspects of IT Support, including:
Training and support of staff on IT Systems
Mail server experience (Postfix, Sendmail, Exim, Antispam / Antivirus, DNSBL, SMTP protocol & general mail routing)
Fortinet Firewall
Mikrotik Wireless networking
Experience with Kaseya helpdesk
Configuring of IP cameras
Ensure that the daily check/task list is completed and submitted to IT team leader
Monitoring of connected devices and the connectivity between Branches
Maintaining IT Documentation – Procedures
Reporting faults to 3rd party suppliers and follow-up
Undertake travel to sites to perform installations and maintenance as required
Windows Server installations and configurations, including DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory
Hyper-V Host and Guest installation, configuration, maintenance, and migrations
Biometric Access Control
Qualifying experience:
A minimum of 8 years of working experience as an IT support technician and directly supporting end-users, both face-to-face and remotely
A minimum of 8 years of experience installing, maintaining, and supporting corporate network environments (LAN & WAN)
Proficient in Hyper-V Virtualization Technology
Scripting and Automation Skills
Knowledge of Acronis Data Backup and Recovery
N+ (CompTIA), A+ (CompTIA), MCSE / MCITP would be highly advantageous
Microsoft Windows (10, 11)
Microsoft Office
Mikrotik knowledge
Knowledge of hardware-software configuration and installation
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Own reliable transport
Networking, Switches, and Router configuration
Advantageous experience:
PLC machinery
VMWare Host and Guest installation, configuration & maintenance
Factory Talk
Auto Cad
Highly Advantageous experience:
Experience in Cloud Automation (PowerAutomate, IFTTT, MAKE, Zapier)
Experience as a Cloud Architect
Experience with Azure Cloud Platform
Experience in Cloud Storage Solutions
Proven Track Record with SQL Database Administration & Performance Tuning
