It Systems Analyst

Job Description : Responsible for ensuring continuous operation of the company's IT systems in the Rosslyn Plant by supervising the ICT infrastructure hardware and Software that support the Warehouse Management System, ERP, MES and other systems in the day-to-day business operations.

Experience and Education :

1. Information Technology qualification and at least 3 years' work experience in Automotive, Manufacturing or Logistics Environment.
2. Must have own transport.
3. Basic Troubleshooting of A+ and N+.
4. MySQL, C++, Databases, Java & Java Scripting Knowledge (Advantageous).
5. Excellent data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
6. A working understanding of Electronic Data Interchange in the automotive / logistics industry.
7. Manufacturing Execution Systems experience, including RFID is a plus.
8. The candidate should be a team player, confident and should be able to communicate extremely well.
9. The candidate should be able to communicate new processes to the organisation.

Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for first level support of all Information Systems, troubleshooting, improvements, readiness, effectiveness, usability, readiness / successful launch.
2. Responsible for material movement validation, master data validation, BOM validation, system validation, accuracy of stock figures etc.
3. Reports deviations from the standard and takes appropriate measures and corrective actions.
4. Analysis and investigation of all systems, booking, results queries from Plant, Logistics etc.
5. Be engaged in implementation of the Groups IT Technical strategy.
6. Problem solving and root cause analysis for systems issues.
7. New process approval / acceptance in line with business requirements.
8. Training of key users on IT systems.
9. Responsible for aspects of IT Technical Management all Technical Assets including, LAN Clients, Printers, Local User Helpdesk, Local Servers, Domain AD, Licensing, Smartphones, Project Support, Altiris Packaging.
10. Responsible to lead and communicate within skill set to IT Technical professionals within the business to ensure our goals, budgets and policies are understood and meet the business needs.
11. Ensure the assets (Hardware & Software) are managed, maintained, and utilized to maximize the productivity of the business.
12. Communicate tasks and projects weekly within user groups and Technical Teams.
