IT Support Specialist / Manager

We require an Intermediate C# Developer in the Randburg area (hybrid working).

Minimum Requirements :

• Grade 12
• Degree or Diploma in IT / Engineering / Computer Science
• Experience with: REST Web API’s, Redis Cache, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, and Blazor
• Ability to develop using PHP and HTML
• Willing to work irregular hours is needed

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Codes, tests, debugs and corrects programs in development.
• Support and maintenance of computer systems.
• Produces complex program specifications and implements system enhancements.

Software Development

• Delivery of well written code to team coding standards.
• Design graphical user interfaces based on the development team design standards.
• Ensure company source code is protected through consistently using services like GIT / TFS.
• Problem solving.
• Completing Sprints.
• Reviewing and Approving Source Code from others.

Design and Planning

• Interface wireframes and related design documentation.
• Showcasing new features during Show and Tell.

Security

• Ensuring that the software developed meets the security standards.
• Ensuring that software scans are performed regularly.
• Interacting with penetration testers.

Software Testing

• Testing code and fault finding.
• Documenting of testing and test cases.

Research & Development / Team Knowledge Store

• Researching new technology and being able to effectively document this technology for the team’s usage.
• Staying relevant with technology through Microsoft and other exams.
• Have a thorough understanding of the product stack.
• Drafting of knowledge articles.

Documentation

• Compile Documentation for Products / Source Code: UAT, Technical specifications, architectural designs, Quick User Guides.
