A company that specializes in high-quality, durable household products, including cookware sold through direct marketing with personalized service, is looking for a professional and dedicated IT Manager to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma in IT or equivalent certifications (A+, N+, Microsoft Certification)
- 5-10 years of IT Management experience
- At least 8 years of experience with:
- Computer hardware, software systems, and programs
- Computer networks, administration, and installation
- Troubleshooting, virus management, and cybersecurity
- Microsoft Windows and Server Operating Systems
- Active Directory and Terminal Services
- Database structures and data extraction
- Sage (Accpac) and Sage CRM (front-end and back-end)
- IIS, Web Services, SSRS Report Writing
- WMS and API Integration
- Java or Angular JS debugging skills
- Strong management, supervisory, and team-building skills
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Time management and stress management skills
- Attributes including honesty, respectfulness, cultural awareness, flexibility, and trustworthiness
Duties and Responsibilities:
- IT Management:
- Plan, organize, and evaluate IT systems and electronic data processing
- Develop and implement IT and telecommunication policies and procedures
- Collaborate with managers to assess system requirements, costs, and timelines
- Hire and manage IT personnel and contractors
- Manage IT budgets and expenditures
- Technology Accessibility:
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems
- Stay updated on company hardware, software, and network functionality
- Train staff on current and new technology
- Provide orientation and individual training on request
- Maintain inventories of hardware, software, and IT resources
- Technology Maintenance:
- Manage firewalls, user accounts, and network access
- Oversee hardware installations, updates, and essential software management
- Ensure secure technology and maintain a complex password system
- Provide recommendations for sourcing and purchasing new technology
- Backup and Disaster Management:
- Configure and manage backup solutions
- Ensure disaster management plans are in place and tested quarterly
- Maintain backup integrity to prevent data loss
- Recommend new backup technology solutions
- CRM and ERP Systems Management:
- Manage Sage (Accpac) and Sage CRM systems
- Provide first-line support and training to end users
- Escalate and follow up on issues with developers
- Ensure functionality of live, development, and test environments
- Perform regular backups before updates or major changes
- General Duties:
- Assess and resolve all technical issues
- Ensure system updates and redundancy for maximum accessibility
- Perform additional duties as required
