JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:
The Information Office Executive guides and manages the overall provision of Information Technology (IT) services, policies, and programs for the entire company. The successful candidate will provide general oversight of the IT infrastructure, provisioning, planning, integration, installation and operation. She/he will be responsible for researching and planning for implementation of the relevant technologies. The tasks include managing the system hardware, operating systems, software, and procedures that adhere to the company’s values and goals. The Information Office Executive will also oversee the company's Information Office staff and work closely with Executive and Senior management about the business of IT and report progress on various projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent
- MBA or equivalent post graduate qualification will be advantageous
- Minimum 5 years of relevant technical experience in Information Office
- Management experience at Senior Management level
- Sound people management and team leadership
- Driver’s Licence Code 08
- Project management experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide overall Information Office governance for the company
- Plan, implement and monitor changes in infrastructure configurations
- Develop and maintain system standards
- Perform system monitoring for security purposes
- Work with Information Office Department to enhance current technologies to improve services
- Communicate regularly with executive management on information technology
- Manage Information Office employees, which includes recruitment, training and development, performance management, guidance, rewards and discipline
- Develop best practices and written documentation for Information Office
- Oversee the provisioning of the end-user services
- Manage the budget and financial aspect of Information Office
- Manage hardware and software vendor relationships
- Manage Information Office projects
- Support management by providing Information Office advice, guidance and decisions
- Comply with Information Office legal requirements and advise management on needed actions
- Develop security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple Information Office platforms
