It Director - Mobile Device Management Engineer

We are looking for a skilled iOS MDM Engineer to join our team and take ownership of managing and optimizing our Apple device infrastructure.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in Jamf Pro and a solid background in React development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. MDM Administration: Manage, deploy, and optimize Apple devices (iPhones, iPads, and Macs) using Jamf Pro and other MDM solutions.
2. Device Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies, enforce configurations, and deploy updates seamlessly.
3. Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve user complaints related to mobile device performance, connectivity, and software issues.
4. Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, AppleScript) to streamline MDM workflows.
5. React Development: Build and maintain internal tools using React for managing Apple device configurations, reporting, and self-service solutions.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Security, and Engineering teams to optimize Apple device usage and improve end-user experience.

Required Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience in Mobile Device Management, specifically with Jamf Pro.
2. Strong knowledge of Apple ecosystem, including iOS, iPadOS, and macOS device management.
3. Experience with React.js for front-end development.
4. Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or AppleScript for automation.
5. Familiarity with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Apple School Manager (ASM).
6. Understanding of Zero-Touch Deployment, security policies, and compliance standards.
7. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for handling user complaints.

Nice-to-Have:

1. Experience with Swift or Node.js.
2. Familiarity with Intune, Workspace ONE, or other MDM solutions.
3. Knowledge of networking, VPNs, and security configurations for iOS / macOS.
