IT Business Development & Account Manager

Salary Interval: Monthly

Description: Our client in the IT industry, based in Port Elizabeth, is looking to employ a Business Development & Account Manager.

Requirements:

  1. Matric
  2. Relevant tertiary qualification.
  3. Proven work experience in a similar business development or sales role.
  4. Experience in the IT sector or knowledge of IT Software/Solutions will be advantageous.
  5. Willingness to travel to visit clients.
  6. Valid Driver’s License and Own Transport is essential.
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify new business opportunities to ensure business growth and development.
  2. Generate sales through in-person visits and presentations to existing and potential clients.
  3. Maintain knowledge of products and utilize marketing principles to convert leads into sales.
  4. Implement strategic plans to meet sales targets.
  5. Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  6. Monitor competitors to maintain market relevance.
  7. Continuously engage with customers to present quality products and services.
  8. Identify and understand customer requirements to offer suitable solutions.
  9. Build and maintain customer relationships and ensure retention of customers through excellent service delivery and support.
