Irrigation Coordinator - Piketberg

Our client outside Piketberg is looking for an Irrigation Coordinator. Candidates currently working in Production who want to grow their career in Irrigation are also welcome to apply.

Requirements:

1. Knowledge of crop irrigation and irrigation infrastructure
2. Experience in the management of irrigation systems, and knowledge of modern production practices and technologically advanced irrigation systems
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills
4. Proficient in MS Excel

Responsibilities:

1. Collect data (system hydraulics, pressure, evaluation, Ecs, PH, etc.)
2. Process, evaluate, and communicate data to Production Manager
3. Maintain bulk water/Irrigation infrastructure - Pumps, filters, etc.
4. Maintain and control HTF room, fertilizer pumps, calibration, etc.
5. Monitor the mixing of fertilizer
6. Weekly monitoring of water meter readings
