Looking for a Smart Creative with Design & System Thinking with a strong personal culture of Learning, Growth & Solutions mindset providing Thought & Technology Leadership to join an existing high performing and dynamic IoT Product Management team to drive Product Life Cycle Management and develop new products, complex solutions, and portfolios for vertical/industry specific participation to investigate, validate, define, design and drive agile development of the IoT portfolio strategy whilst ensuring that the company wide targets are being met. Building IoT solutions with Self-Service, Self-Help, Auditing, Tracking, Monitoring, Revenue, Quality Assurance, with end-2-end automation as core value proposition and differentiation. While driving and adhering to company’s policies and procedures for Legal, Regulatory, Security, Technology Reliance, Business Continuity, Risk & Governance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- To analyse and manage the mobile voice and roaming portfolio of products, applications and solutions that address vertical industry and enterprise customer needs.
- To understand the evolving needs in the enterprise environment and define the portfolio strategy to address these needs.
- To interpret the group strategy and roadmap and relate to the divisional roadmap to determine the direction of the specific area.
- To compile a strategy and implementation roadmap in accordance with the divisional and group strategy.
- To analyse the divisional business plan to determine the outputs required from the department.
- Partner Management Lifecycle capabilities to drive an end-2-end engagement model for onboarding, strategy, roadmap, commercials, go-to-market and roadshows.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Technical / professional qualifications:
- Matric essential.
- Completed relevant 3-year Business or Technical degree or National diploma essential.
- Postgraduate Commercial degree preferable.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the IoT/ICT industry essential including the following:
- Minimum 5 years Product Management Experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing a portfolio of products and services.
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
- Commercial Product & Business case modelling.
- Effective Stakeholder Management with effective communication skills, written, presentation and verbal.
- Chief Problem Solver, Analytical, Systematic, Methodical driving a Learning, Growth & Solutions mindset.
- Smart Creative with Design & System Thinking driving a Learning, Growth & Solutions mindset providing Thought & Technology Leadership.
- Negotiation, Commercial and Contract Management skills.
