IOR Project Manager

A dynamic opportunity has arisen for an experienced IOR Project Manager to join a growing global logistics provider specialising in clinical trial shipments.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional with a strong background in compliance, project management, and international logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bespoke project solutions, overseeing end-to-end import coordination for high-value clinical trial shipments, and ensuring seamless service delivery across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project & Compliance Management
2. Manage the import process for global clinical trial supplies
3. Conduct compliance reviews for new shipment requests
4. Collaborate with research, development, and external compliance parties
5. Coordinate internal teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
6. Create bespoke quotes and project proposals for clients
7. Ensure effective project handovers to service delivery teams

1. Client Engagement & Relationship Management
2. Build and maintain relationships with international clients
3. Provide clear communication on compliance requirements and timelines
4. Present tailored solutions and updates to clients throughout the project lifecycle
5. Resolve escalations and ensure client satisfaction

1. Operational Oversight & Delivery
2. Lead project planning and timeline management
3. Work cross-functionally to resolve operational challenges
4. Monitor ongoing project performance and adapt solutions where needed

Candidate Requirements:

1. Professional qualification in Law, Accounting, or related discipline (CA or LLB preferred)
2. Excellent academic background
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
4. Fluent in English, both written and verbal
5. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills
6. Highly organised, adaptable, and able to handle multiple complex projects
7. Energetic and enthusiastic team player with strong problem-solving abilities
8. Experience in global logistics, compliance, or clinical trials is advantageous
