Our client, a leading alternative asset management company, is seeking an Account Manager to join their team and play a key role in delivering outstanding client service while ensuring operational excellence and strict compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in client account management, a sharp understanding of regulatory compliance, and the ability to manage complex projects with precision.

In this role, you will take charge of the onboarding process, manage client relationships, ensure compliance with key regulations, and optimize internal operations to boost productivity. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to initiate and drive process improvements and ensure data integrity across multiple systems.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law, or a related field from a top-tier university, with excellent academic performance (high distinction or honors) in both Matric and University.
• At least one to two years of experience in either fund operations, onboarding, investment administration or account management within the financial services or tax industry, with a focus on client account management and project management.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and deadlines, including KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS, and other relevant regulations.
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple, complex projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to perform under high-pressure conditions, managing tasks with urgency and efficiency.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with a capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, precise work.
• Ability to work independently and exercise discretion when interfacing with external parties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with CRM systems.
• Experience with alternative asset classes such as private equity, hedge funds, or real estate is an advantage.
• Willingness to work from the office 5 days a week.
