Investment Banking Analyst

The Millwright is responsible for planning and performing maintenance work to plant safety and food safety standards. Responsibilities include welding, cutting, fitting repairs or new installations, troubleshooting issues, and resolving them. The role involves performing routinely scheduled preventative maintenance and documenting work completed. The Millwright will help develop long-term preventative maintenance projects and plans, work with the production team to drive efficiency in operations, conduct maintenance on items identified through scheduled inspections, and minimize downtime by performing repairs safely and expediently according to the agreed frequency and method. Additionally, the position requires performing inventory management on critical spare parts and ensuring all assets are properly cared for, including adherence to greasing/oiling schedules and inspection of parts to ensure they meet appropriate specifications. Inspection and cleaning of plant components are also part of the responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

1. Prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks according to supplier specifications.
2. Manage all mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
3. Adhere to the preventative maintenance plan.
4. Ensure the job card system is up to date and all reports are submitted on time and are correct.
5. Update the maintenance program with information on required preventative maintenance.
6. Ensure that necessary parts are available and order them in time if not available.
7. Consult with the Production/Packing Manager when the production line can be stopped for necessary maintenance.
8. Inform maintenance personnel with job cards for machine service requirements and compile schedules.
9. Ensure good work practices are carried out by all operators.
10. Ensure high-quality work is done to prevent re-occurrence of issues due to poor work quality.
11. Coordinate the measurement tracking of energy efficiency at the mill.
12. Provide proactive internal and external training to improve the operational skills level of all operators.
13. Ensure that the ION Meter is in order and recording energy usage correctly.
14. Conduct daily checks and record on the power factor units, taking action on logged defects to rectify.
15. Achieve and maintain a dust, air, spillage, and water leakage-free plant, taking corrective action to ensure compliance.
16. Prepare and ensure adherence to the budget.
17. Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and CIPs.
18. Ensure compliance with food safety requirements as per the FSSC standard.
19. Manage OPRPs effectively.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Red Seal Millwright trade test certificate.
2. Engineering diploma in either mechanical or electromechanical (heavy current) fields with an academic qualification of at least T3 or N5.
3. Instrumentation/SCADA systems/PLC/HMI/high voltage switching experience (optional but preferred).
4. Knowledge of plant automation operations.
5. Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG/Manufacturing.
6. Supervisor course qualification (6-month refresher course) including HR/IR course on delegation, communication, motivation, and discipline (optional but preferred).
7. FSSC training (optional but preferred).
8. OHS Safety Rep (formal training) up to date (optional but preferred).
9. Forklift driver’s license (optional but preferred).
10. Fault finding - electrical and mechanical schematic.
