About the job Internal Sales / Telesales
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
- Minimum two to three years experience in the courier industry in the salesenvironment.
- Must have a proven track record in the sales environment.
Responsibilities:
New Business Sales
- Meet and exceed monthly new business sales targets.
- Sell the Companys services to all customers within set regional boundaries.
- Ensure the account is secured in its entirety (i.e., maximum potential).
- Negotiate gross profits in line with company objectives.
Sales Procedures and Cycle
- Prospect new clients.
- Secure a minimum number of appointments per week as per company objectives.
- Conduct needs analysis.
- Propose customized client solutions and negotiate rates.
- Attain credit applications in line with company policy and procedure.
- Follow internal policy and procedure regarding opening new accounts.
- Arrange and deliver stationery, coordinate integration, and IT hardware.
- Attain logins and train customers onCompanysystems.
- Identify opportunities to increase existing client spending for 12 months GROW, RETAIN & PROTECT.
- Identify and secure sales opportunities with new business accounts.
- Optimize sales volumes and pricing.
- Ensure monthly sales targets and new account targets are achieved and exceeded.
- Maintain a daily, reliable, up-to-date customer entry on the Sales share drive.
Reporting
- Report to the Sales/Telesales Manager on:
- Market trends
- Customer suggestions, issues, and complaints
- Competitor activity
- Attend and contribute to sales meetings.
- Complete and submit sales reports before deadlines as requested by the Sales Manager.
- Respond to email communication within requested timelines.
