Role Overview:
The Internal Sales Representative will collaborate with the sales and distribution teams to grow and maintain customer relationships, meet sales targets, and ensure efficient service delivery with comprehensive support from the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with customers about orders and product requirements.
• Accurately capture and proactively manage customer orders.
• Ensure orders are delivered on time and meet specifications.
• Prepare quotations, follow up with clients, and provide product and stock consultation.
• Support the Sales Manager in selling activities.
• Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Liaise with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and necessary materials.
• Keep customers informed about deliveries and follow up after delivery.
Authority:
• Research and develop new sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager.
• Uphold company policies, standards, and values.
• Report directly to company directors.
Accountability:
• Accept responsibility for assigned duties and disclose outcomes transparently.
• Maintain accountability for finances and property under your care.
Training:
• Attend training sessions to address skill gaps.
• Training will be company-funded, with remuneration provided during sessions.
Required Skills:
• Strong data entry, organizational, and administrative abilities.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Sales and commercial awareness, including negotiation skills.
