Internal Sales (Airconditioning)

Position Description: An internal sales person plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Salary: R10 000.00 – R13 000.00 per month + commission (+- R2 000.00 -R10 000.00 per month), 50% Medical Aid, Provident Fund and 13th Cheque

Major Areas of Responsibility:

1. Achievement of daily sales / profit targets.
2. Carry out daily administration duties.
3. Ensure the daily administrative tasks are processed.
4. Maintain and promote Metraclark’s image within the market.
5. Liaison with existing customers/suppliers to promote branch profitability.
6. Compliance with relevant EH&S obligations.
7. Provide customers with technical support regarding products.
8. Focus on the long-term growth and profitability of the branch, achieving budgets as agreed with the Manager.
9. Build sound relationships with quality customers to facilitate long-term growth in the order book of the branch.
10. Daily cash up and any other duties assigned from time to time.
11. Compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures.

Job Requirements:

1. Technical Experience – Refrigeration and Air-conditioning equipment will be an advantage.
2. Two years or more active Internal Sales Experience.
3. Physical ability to handle stock.
4. Computer Literacy – Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Syspro.
5. Experience in a Wholesale or Retail environment.
6. Matric.
