Are you someone who can:

1. Ensure that customers are provided with world-class perspectives and solutions.
2. Continually measure the impact of the audit service on the customer base.
3. Drive the relationships with the customer.
4. Represent GIA at appropriate client forums and committees.
5. Add value to the processes and the business of the customers.
6. Implement and maintain the GIA strategy for all assurance services provided. Align assurance services to the overall GIA strategy.
7. Build relationships with customers that will result in a long-term win-win partnership.
8. Deliver Assurance and Consulting Services.
9. Develop and maintain the audit population and risk universe for the business unit.
10. Preparation of the annual audit plan, taking into account strategic plans and emerging risks.
11. Provide input and assist with the preparation and review of the various committee packs.
12. Identifying opportunities and driving an integrated audit approach between process audit and IT audit.
13. Implement and maintain Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques (CAATs) for control testing ensuring efficiencies are introduced in the audit process.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

1. CA (SA), CIA, BCom/Honors or relevant financial qualification at a post graduate level.
2. Minimum of 2 years senior management experience in an internal or external audit in the banking and financial services sector is a prerequisite.
3. Corporate Investment Banking knowledge and understanding is an advantage.
4. Corporate and investment banking experience and the understanding of banking regulatory requirements is a must.
5. IT Audit and data analytics experience is beneficial.
