The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Internal audit that aligns with the Internal Audit departmental strategy
• Contribute to Internal Audit departmental strategic planning
• Provide support and/or technical expertise to the Head: Internal Audit
• Contribute to the maturing of enterprise risk management by identifying risks that could impact the business
• Leverage technology opportunities
• Responsible for operational delivery of the internal audit strategy
• Responsible for the implementation of effective communication channels to ensure team communication and understanding of departmental processes
• Accountable for management of the team
• Relationship and stakeholder management

Education:

• Honours Degree in Commerce / Internal Auditing
• Certificate in Internal Auditing (CIA) or Chartered Accountant (SA)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 10 years internal audit experience
• 5 years managerial experience in financial services
