Internal Audit Analyst

A leading financial services company close to Somerset West area, Western Cape, is seeking an Internal Audit Analyst to ensure system and process integrity.

This role is critical in supporting the growing operations across Africa. You will be an integral part of the internal audit team, focusing on data integrity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on innovation and growth. Success in this role means effectively identifying and addressing areas of concern or fraud and providing actionable insights to management.

Key qualifications for the Internal Audit Analyst:

• Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Honours in a relevant field
• Professional certifications such as CIA or CISA (advantageous)
• 4 - 6 years of experience in a similar role
• Willingness and ability to travel across Africa

Key duties for the Internal Audit Analyst include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the planning and execution of internal audit engagements, including risk assessment and audit testing
• Conducting full population testing of credit policies and revenue models to ensure system accuracy
• Providing recommendations for the selection and implementation of audit analytics
• Performing data analysis to identify anomalies, trends, and patterns, and communicating findings to management
• Testing accounting entries and identifying control weaknesses
