JOB PROFILE

JOB TITLE: Intern: Marketing Assistant

DURATION: Twelve (12) Months Fixed Term Contract

REPORTING TO: Specialist: Marketing and Stakeholder Relations

JOB GRADE: Stipend

STIPEND: R5000.00 P/m

NO. OF INCUMBENTS: 1

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The purpose of the internship is to gain knowledge and experience on how to implement an integrated provincial marketing, stakeholder relations, and information management plan.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  1. Assist with the implementation of provincial marketing and communication plan as per national strategy
  2. Assist with the implementation of the provincial information management system as per national strategy
  3. Assist with the provincial media and stakeholder management plan as per national strategy
  4. Assist with the coordination of marketing events and brand management activities aligned to strengthen organizational image

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

  • Matric plus National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Marketing/Communications or Media Relations

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • No work experience required
