About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Integration Specialist (Digital Transformation Engineer) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT or digital transformation, with a focus on configuring, customizing, scripting, and integrating systems like CRM, reporting, and customer service platforms.
A background in software engineering and a strong understanding of robust software engineering principles is advantageous, but not required. Knowledge of the Zoho ecosystem of products is highly advantageous.
This role is critical to our ongoing digital transformation (DT) efforts and will work directly under the IT Manager, who is responsible for leading these initiatives while balancing IT operations.
You will collaborate closely with the IT Manager to drive digital transformation projects forward, providing advanced technical expertise to ensure the smooth execution of these initiatives. This role is suited for someone who has a strong engineering mindset but is enthusiastic about working in an operational and transformative environment rather than purely developing code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the configuration, customization, scripting, and integration of CRM, reporting, customer service systems, and other related tools.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to execute digital transformation initiatives on time and within scope.
- Automate repetitive processes, integrate systems using APIs, and create custom workflows for improved operational efficiency.
- Provide technical insight and hands-on implementation support for system upgrades, changes, and integrations.
- Act as the go-to technical specialist for digital transformation tasks, including troubleshooting, custom scripting, and technical problem-solving.
- Document technical specifications, process maps, and technical configurations to ensure knowledge transfer.
- Ensure high-quality execution of projects, aligning technical capabilities with strategic business goals.
- Maintain close collaboration with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and support them through the digital transformation process.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant Background: Degree or diploma/certification in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in IT/digital transformation roles. Prior experience in CRM systems, customer support platforms, reporting tools, or similar systems is highly desirable.
- Software/IT Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT environments and cloud-based systems.
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, or similar) and familiarity with customization and integration of these types of systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for custom workflows or automations.
- Experience with API integration for linking different platforms and data sources.
- Knowledge of robust software engineering principles is advantageous.
- Digital Transformation Aptitude:
- Proven experience in digital transformation projects, including process analysis, requirement gathering, and stakeholder engagement.
- Understanding of best practices in system integration and workflow optimization.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot technical challenges efficiently.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into understandable concepts for stakeholders.
- Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work collaboratively with the IT Manager and other stakeholders, taking the initiative to move projects forward.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to handle context-switching between tasks, especially as this role supports a mix of long-term transformation work and immediate technical needs.
