Insure Adviser: Commercial and Personal Lines

The Adviser is responsible for the selling of short-term commercial and personal insurance products and services to the right clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Selling of short-term products specialising in commercial and personal lines
2. Quotations for clients
3. Follow up on leads
4. Building a client base
5. Advising clients on their short-term insurance needs
6. Handling of incoming and outgoing calls
7. Renewal of policies
8. Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients, product providers, colleagues etc.
9. On-site meeting with clients
10. Dealing with service providers
11. Implement company strategy

Skill sets required:

1. Grade 12
2. NQF 4 Short-Term Insurance Certificate
3. RE5 Certificate
4. 3 - 5 years´ short-term insurance experience in commercial and personal lines
5. DOFA confirmation from FSCA
6. Good verbal and written communication skills
7. Good negotiating skills
8. Highly client-focused with good interpersonal skills
9. Resilient with a good level of stress tolerance
10. Problem solving and analysis
11. Planning and organising
12. Strong sales and marketing experience
13. Own transport
