This prestigious organization is on the lookout for your outstanding expertise as an Instrumentation QC Inspector with Saudi ARAMCO CBT passed in Electrical and Instrumentation for various Hook Up Vessels around the Globe (currently in Saudia Arabia).

Job Summary:

  • Execute the inspection and Quality Control activities on site both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, collecting the relevant records. Ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures. Ensure that all Instrumentation, Automation and Telecommunications equipment/systems construction and installation activities are executed in accordance with the relevant Codes and Standards, and Subsidiaries procedures, Quality Control Plans/ Inspection Test Plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute the specific inspections on material, equipment and construction/installation activities on site, following relevant specified procedures, issuing the relevant Quality Records.
  • Issue the relevant Quality Records and provide support for non-conformance reports.
  • Check cable laying and cable identification.
  • Perform all relevant loop checks.
  • Perform visual inspections, dimensional tests, check rating and material for connection.
  • Perform tests of continuity, insulation resistance.
  • Calibrate safety valves.
  • Calibrate instruments.
  • Check installation of instruments.

Experience and Qualifications (Mandatory requirements):

  • Saudi ARAMCO CBT in Electrical and Instrumentation.
  • High School diploma, or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Able to inspect complete loop checking, wiring continuity and color coding, start-up, and troubleshooting.
  • Able to evaluate Factory Acceptance Test and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of international codes and standards related to packaged units instrumentation such as Distributed Control System (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems, Remote Terminal Unit, and Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems.
